Own a standby generator?  Unlike the portable diesel generators, the larger water cooled engines such as the Yangdong YD485 use a external fuel pump and fuel injector pump as shown here.

The fuel pumps also require oil. Same oil you use in your engine will work. Diesel Motor Oil 15w40  If you forget to fill it, you will destroy it in a matter of minutes.
