Model AGI40X - Perkins Diesel Generator

Most people can run everything in their home as if the power never failed with this size generator. The large built in fuel tank can keep things running for days. It holds over 200 Liters / 58 gallons of fuel.

After you install it, it can be set to operate automatically. So, when the power fails, the generator start running. Next, it switches your power from your mains source to the generator. When the powers restored, it safely reconnects power back to your mains and shuts itself off. Power outages only last a few seconds since the built in automatic transfer switch monitors conditions and takes over when needed.

Power your home, cottage, cabin or business. The Perkins engine is designed to run full time and can handle 40,000 watts easily. The enclosure helps keep it all running clean and quiet. Inside is a large muffler system that helps to reduce noise to a comfortable level. Since the housing is weather resistant, it can withstand our summer heat or cold Canadian winters.

This generator uses a SmartGen model HGM6100 series controller. Its considered the brains of the generator. The SmartGen controller is used to monitor and display voltage, current, frequency, power, run time, engine and battery conditions and more. The SmartGen controller also controls the Automatic Transfer Switch. Preheating and cool-down periods are all programmable if needed.
