This is because it produces enough power to get most people through emergencies. It uses very little fuel. It is so efficient that it produces no smoke. The higher quality enclosure makes it remarkably quiet and weather proof. It will make your neighbors wonder how you have power and they do not. Our unique design uses a Laidong 10,000 hour rated engine that requires filter changes only every 200 hours. When you receive it, add coolant, lube oil and fuel. Next, connect the starter battery. Press the start button and start making your own electricity. You can make a permanent connection to your home or simply plug in to the 30 amp outlet on the front of the generator.  While the power companies may let you down, this generator will not.

This generator uses the Laidong 4L22BD engine. Laidong engines have a proven history and are considered one of the best engines in their class.

Built To Last

Generator enclosures are solid structures designed on CAD Systems (Computer Aided Design). Laser cutting machines cut the different shapes out of heavy sheet metals.After the components are precision welded, they undergo a chemical cleaning process. The next step is electrostatic painting.  Electrostatic force pulls paint around corners and edges ensuring a smooth, automotive quality finish.

These generators have been designed to operate from the cold northern winters to the tropics. The heavy metal enclosure uses stainless steel fasteners. Weather stripping around all doors helps keep water out. Locks helps to prevent unauthorized access. The enclosure is unique to Aurora Generators.

 

Easy To Use

The generator is remarkably easy to use. Just press the green button to start and the red button to stop. To prevent others from using it, just remove the key switch or lock the panel door. Advanced engine monitoring and control is achieved by using the Deep Sea Electronics model DSE3110 controller. It also functions as an Auto Start Module. Traditional large analogue gauges also show fuel level, engine temperature, oil pressure, generator voltage, current and frequency.

Fully Automatic

Imagine the power fails and everything goes dark. Your not worried. Because your generator has a automatic transfer switch, it safely connects itself to your home and disconnects when the normal utility power is restored. Within seconds your power is back online and powering your whole home. You can leave your home knowing it is protected.

 

Whole Home Power

Now you can power your entire home. The average home can use up 24,000 watts. That is 200 amps service provided by the utility companies. The generator produces up to 20,000 watts (166 amps). Unless your a big power hog, it is a perfect size.

It is okay to use your air conditioner, computer, television or any other electronics with this generator. The automatic voltage regulator insures the output voltage remains +- 1% of the set value. It is also suitable for use in high moisture, oil vapor, or salty environments as a result of the windings black resin class H insulation.

Trouble Free

A main circuit breaker protects the generator from overload. Protection for other components is from a set of fuses located behind the panel. Indicator lights illuminate if one has tripped. We do not expect you will ever have any problems but, we still build our generators to be easily serviced. That is why you will not find spaghetti wiring like on other generators. Every wire is labeled, soldered and secured properly.

There is no need to exercise this generator since it has a built in power supply and battery charger that keeps you generator ready for the next time you need it
