While some agree, a smaller generator has some advantages, the cost to manufacture it has not changed. Our customers prefer more power and lower retail price. Small Air Cooled Diesel Generator

This is the smallest air cooled portable diesel generator on the market.  The engine is known as the LA178. It is the same basic design used on larger 6500 watt generators using the LA186 engine. Reduced size, weight and fuel consumption once made this size generator very popular. Today demand for the larger LA186 engine driven generator has resulted in little price difference between the two.  For this reason, many choose the 6000 Watt portable diesel generator instead.

Fuel Pre-Heater Glow plug preheats air so fuel mixture will vaporize in the combustion chamber making starting easier for cold or during cold starts

Remote Starter

Long range key-chain remote control starter included. Stay in the comfort and security of your home. Long range RF remote lets you start and stop your backup generator without having to go near it.

Hour Meter

Similar to a cards odometer that tells you when its is time to change the oil or how long it has been used, the included our meter on this generator shows you how long it has been running. This makes it easy know when to change the oil, service or refuel.
