Aurora 250 Amp Generator Automatic Transfer Switch The heart of this transfer switch is the Aisikai SKT Double Power changeover switch. Rated at over 250 amps it is able to handle the power most North American homes are designed for. The SmatGen HAT240 Controller is an Automatic Transfer Switch Control Module. The module features 8-Bit microprocessor control. The module is used to monitor two single-phase AC supply. Once I# AC supply failure is detected (under voltage,over voltage) , The module Automatically transfer the switch to II# AC supply, and control generator to start. Aurora has built the two devices into this durable enclosure you see below. There is also a built in power supply that is used to keep your generator battery topped up and provide power for standby until the ATS commands the generator to start up. Control of the generator is by two wires that make or break a connection so controlling most generators on the market is very simple. Two more wires provide 12 volts back to the generator to keep the battery charged and provide power to the generator controller during standby. Customers should refer to both Aisikai and SmartGen for installation instructions, specifications and support. Aurora Generators does not provide help with installation or instructions for use. Customer are encouraged to reference and follow all local electrical codes for installation and safety purposes. Both Aisikai and SmartGen manuals need to be used together and are also available for download from Aurora Generators website.
