People in Haiti need our help!

Haiti has the lowest coverage of electricity in the Western Hemisphere. Only 12.5% of the population have access to electricity, normally.   This electricity shortage has created a situation in which tens of thousands of households and institutions (e.g. hospitals, schools) have to rely on their own diesel generators and as a result spend large portions of their income on fuel to run those generators.

With the recent 7.0 magnitude earthquake   Those who did have power for the most part have lost it.   Haiti needs a lot of things right now. Power has always been one of them but as a result of recent events it is needed now more then ever.

Aurora Generators can make available many gas and diesel generators to any relief agencies in Canada or the USA.

Electricity in Haiti is 110 Volts, alternating at 60 cycles per second. We have many small gas and diesel generators that will fit their needs.

Please email 911@EmergencyPower.com we would like the opportunity to help.

For anyone else  interested in helping, money goes a long way. There are many recognized relief agencies. The Red Cross is one of them that can accept your donations.
