Diesel Generator is very easy to start. It has a built in fuel preheater for cold weather use and come with a battery for the built in easy to
use electric starter. Because this generator uses a catalytic converter
and two mufflers its much quieter then conventional open frame
generators. The exhaust is clear and cool making it ideal for home,
cottage or RV use. Electrical Approval This diesel generator is built to superior electrical quality. It carries certifications from ISO 9001, ETL, EPA and is Certified to CSA Standard C22.2 No 100. Construction Heavy gauge steel is used in the construction of the diesel generators enclosure adding to its strength and noise reduction properties. Additional acoustic insulation is also used on the inside of the enclosure. Computer Friendly PowerElectronic Voltage Regulator (AVR) is used to produce clean computer friendly power. Harmonic Distortion is nil to minimal as to satisfy sensitive UPS powers supplies and other delicate electronics. Cold Start Preheater The Aurora Generator includes a built pre-heater. A fuel preheater assists fuel in vaporizing inside the combustion chamber during cold days and cold starting. Without a pre-heater starting a diesel generator can be difficult. You will also find our generator has an access panel on the top of the enclosure. This hatch will let you access the decompression leaver to assist in starting in extreme condition. It is like a hood for your car. Without this access you would need to remove the enclosure or reach in from some other angle to use the decompression leaver, change a fuel injector or adjust a valve. 12 Hour Running Time Enjoy one of the longest run times on the market. Run time is up to 12 hours at 75% load burning only 4 gallons of fuel.  Control Panel Hour meter keeps track of engine running time to eliminate the guess work of when its time to change oil or perform maintenance. Electrical Safety Standards This Generator meets all Canadian and American Electrical Safety Standards. ETL Testing Laboratories has been conducting electrical performance and reliability tests since 1896. Intertek Testing Services (ITS) acquired ETL from Inchcape in 1996. ITS is recognized by OSHA as a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL), just as Underwriters Laboratories (UL), Canadian Standards Association (CSA) and several other independent organizations are recognized. Its tests products according to nearly 200 safety and performance standards. The ETL Listed Mark and C-ETL Listed Mark are accepted throughout the United States and Canada when denoting compliance with nationally recognized standards such as ANSI, IEC, UL, and CSA. This certification mark indicates that the product has been tested to and has met the minimum requirements of a widely recognized (consensus) U.S. product safety standard, that the manufacturing site has been audited, and that the applicant has agreed to a program of periodic factory follow-up inspections to verify continued conformance.
